I further provide my consent to any credit bureau to provide the Credit Provider with credit reports, to accept the filing of my credit information from the Credit Provider.
I understand that I have the right to contact the credit bureaus to check my credit record and request the credit bureaus to correct any incorrect information they hold about me.
I consent to the Credit Provider collecting and Processing* my Personal Information** to enable it to implement the Agreement, carry out statistical and other analysis to identify potential markets and trends and to develop new products and services and to it disclosing my Personal Information to any of its agents or service providers. The Credit Provider asks these parties to agree to its privacy policies.
I agree that the Credit Provider may determine the need and purpose of Processing my Personal Information as required by various laws, including the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act.
I consent to the Credit Provider holding, utilising, processing, confirming, storing and giving out my confidential and personal information to my employer, bank, any credit bureau or other person for business reasons if the Credit Provider is legally required to or allowed to do so and to the Credit Provider holding, utilising, processing, confirming, storing, sending and receiving information about me from any credit bureau or similar organisation that has information about me or my creditworthiness.
I have no claim against the Credit Provider for keeping, using or legally distributing my Personal Information.
*Process/Processing means the collection, receipt, recording, organisation, collation, storage, updating or modification, retrieval; alteration; consultation; use; dissemination by means of transmission, distribution or making available in any other form; merging, linking, as well as blocking, degradation, erasure or destruction of information;
**Personal Information includes race, gender, sex, marital status, nationality, ethnic or social origin, colour, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental health, religion, belief, disability, language, birth, education, identity number, telephone number, email, postal or street address, biometric information, financial, criminal or employment history and correspondence that is private or confidential.
